Edited by the Departmento de Lingüística of the Universidad de Chile, Boletín de Filología is mainly devoted to research in Hispanic linguistics and philology, though contributions on new theoretical developments and important methodological innovations in all areas of linguistics are also welcome. In addition to original essays --ranging in length from short research notes up to major reports--, the journal publishes review articles and book reviews.
