Resumen
Este trabajo estudia la negación de los adjetivos en -ble y, en concreto, la (im)posibilidad de anteponer no a ese tipo de adjetivos. Por una parte, se establece que la posibilidad de negar los adjetivos en -ble con la partícula no está determinada por la presencia/ausencia de un valor modal: aquellos adjetivos que poseen esta interpretación aceptan la anteposición de no; aquellos que no tienen valor modal, la rechazan. Por otra parte, se analiza si los adjetivos en -ble con propiedades verbales pierden esas características cuando están precedidos por la negación y se muestra que no es así, en línea con lo propuesto por Gibert Sotelo (2017: 226-227) y Fábregas (2020: 256-257) para el prefijo negativo in-, y contra lo postulado por Varela (1990, 2002, 2003) y Fábregas (2005).Palabras clave:
