Abstract

This piece of work has as principal aim to show the silencing of feminine writer´s voice in the complementary readings list suggested by the MINEDUC for students of 7th, 8th grade and secondary education. The objective is to reveal, through a quantitative perspective, the primacy presence of male authors to theoretically and critically analyze this gender curricular bias. This approach allows us to conclude that behind the promotion of this canon of proposed literary works, there is a literary epistemicide, understood as the murder of the female writers who does not allow her perspective and knowledge to contribute to citizen training, revealing the violence of the nation state that, through this silencing, usurping the voice and the place of women authors, simulating their presence through a ventriloquist author who speaks for her and who is located from his space to simulate his literary perspective.
